Svengali Yoga offers comfortably warm yoga in a  non competitive, supportive, welcoming, non judgmental studio where you can meet like minded people or maintain your personal space and privacy.

This is a place where you will be challenged and challenge yourself, where your physical, emotional and spiritual strength can grow. If it’s results you want, this is the place you’ll get them.  This is a beautifully heated environment where you will be challenged and challenge yourself…..grow. Dry heat allows fascia around muscle to ease and melt so that you can practice with less stiffness and explore deeper your full potential. Dry heat is safe for asthma and won’t cause the kind of dripping sweat you get from humidity. Try it – you’ll love it. If it’s results you want, this is the place you’ll get them.

You will adore our trademarked yoga sequences and experience weight loss success, the trimming of inches, muscle growth, increased stamina and self esteem, better sleep, better focus, better relationships, better eating habits and a much more positive outlook on life in general.

  • From the minute I walked in the door, I felt welcome, but still the little voice in my head said you're the fattest person in the room, you're not flexible, you have no business being here, and certainly not being out in public wearing that little clothing. Then the class started, and for 60 minutes, that little voice shut up, and all that mattered was doing my best and sticking with it and following the guidance of the instructor. During class, everything else in the world ceased to exist, and every doubt and inner criticism just melted away as I stared myself down in the mirror determined to hold that pose no matter how my muscles might be burning. When I started, I hoped to lose a few pounds, but what I have gained has been so much more. For the first time in my life, I can look at my body and appreciate the things it can do, especially the things I thought it couldn't, but learned I was wrong when I finally stopped listening to the doubts and just trusted the instructors to guide the way. The instructors are truly the best part of this place. They guide you, push you, challenge you, inspire you, keep you focused, so that you can get out of your own way, and really push yourself to places you never thought you could go.

  • It took only three classes to get “hooked”….not just on the practice but on the “EXPERIENCE”. I was made to feel at home from the very first day I met Marni as a timid first timer and now feel that I am part of a very special place with very special people. The class sizes are a perfect blend of experienced yogis and newbies. The respectful and disciplined approach of all of the unique individual instructors who encourage me and challenge me to achieve MY test in mind, body and soul has surpassed any other wellness experience that I have tried in my 60 years. In the short time I have been attending, I have lost 10 pounds and 2 inches, I am stronger, I have more energy, I am motivated to eat better, I smile more often, my skin is softer and I am more flexible (in both my body and mind). Ask anyone who knows me! I understand there are other yoga studios around but for my hard earned money and my desire to take my wellness seriously, the values advocated by the studio and staff of respect for individual context and self expression, compassion for ourselves and each other, ruthless support and encouragement, professionalism and lifelong learning have made me a lifer. Thank you Marni et el…for your commitment to our wellbeing!

  • This is a place where you are able to leave the chaos that life brings at the door. As soon as you walk in, your practice is the only thing that matters. Labeling and judgement does not happen here, however you are expected to put 100% into your practice. The instructors will guide and encourage you so that you get the best out of your class. As a 46 year old man, I have spent most of my life doing one type of fitness or other. I have had the misfortune of sustaining many injuries due to previous employment, resulting in me letting things slide. I began to experience weight and health issues due to this "letting it slide." The results and benefits I have achieved continue to amaze me with each and every class. The weight is disappearing, body strength is returning with each class. Flexibility beyond what I have ever managed to achieve before. A better understanding of how my body works. I can see the results on the scale, on the tape measure, in the fact I have to buy new clothes (old clothes too big). I would like to say a massive thank you to the outstanding instructors , your guidance, for your understanding, for the fact that you believe in what I can achieve before I do.

  • Teacher Training has not just been about training are bodies and minds, it’s been about training our attitudes, are communication skills, our people skills; it’s been about transforming from humans doing into humans being. I’ve never felt stronger physically mentally and emotionally and every week I know I am only getting stronger. This strength, and the healing I’ve done during this rigorous process, is something as a teacher I hope to share with all of you. Teacher Training with Marni has been far from easy, but very few things in life worth having ever are. I’m learning to balance a full time job were I spend nine hours a day one my feet with constant rigorous practice and learning. I’m pushing past the physical obstacle of recovering from a broken wrist, this means learning to not just push past it but to also respect my body and not hurt myself further. I’m lucky to be going through this with solid people who support and stand with each other but then, Marni’s vision is of a yoga community not just a yoga business. To be training under someone I admire and respect, someone who is truly remarkably educated and caring. If you have not joined this Svengali Yoga family yet I urge you to join me, I will meet you on the mat and together we will set the air in the studio on fire, reawakening the healthy warrior within. We all have our struggles and traumas and truly, there is no better space to heal than Svengali Yoga, I’m right there with you.

  • I'm not one that leaves alot of reviews but I had to write about Svengali Yoga. These are no ordinary hot yoga classes and Marni, the owner is no ordinary Yoga Instructor. She's a great teacher that pushes you mentally and physically. Not only does she leave me feeling sore the next day, but also clarity in my mind from all the thoughts that consumes me. Being an athlete, I have very poor flexibility. After my 4th class with her, I can see a HUGE amount of improvement! If you're looking for a new challenge and a kick ass yogi teacher, check out Svengali Yoga.
